Christmas Jumper Day 2018

On Tuesday 18th December 2018, we’ll be holding a non-uniform Christmas Jumper Day, our Christmas Fayre and a Christmas Quiz in aid of Save the Children. We’re asking students to wear either a Christmas jumper or Christmas colours, such as red or green, along with suitable non-uniform attire. We would ask that students donate £1 to this very worthwhile cause. We’ve got some super stalls organized as part of our Christmas Fayre, selling Christmas decorations made by our ADT students, as well as hot chocolate, pick n’ mix, cakes, Christmas cookies. There’ll also be games stalls and a photo booth. It all promises to be a lot of fun!

And let’s face it.  It’s the most magical time of year—fairy lights and baubles, snowmen and Christmas trees.  And on 18th December, we want it all  – on a jumper.

On Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, all over the country, thousands of people will be donning their daftest, most wonderful woollies—all for a great cause.

Together we can make Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day the biggest, silliest day ever.

Everyone who donates £1 to take part in this seasonal silliness will be doing some serious good around the world.

Your jumper could be the difference between a hot meal or no meal.  It can help bring essential healthcare, education, protection and food to millions of children around the world who are missing out on these basics.

Your support can protect children from easily preventable, yet still deadly, diseases like malaria, diarrhea and pneumonia.

And it can help us reach children who are forgotten simply because they were born in a remote village, because they’re girls or refugees, have a disability or are from a minority group.

Whether you go full-on TwinklyBaublePomPoms or play it cool with a SnowyTreeStar, the money you raise can help make a world of difference to children in desperate need—and give them the chance to be children again.

On 18th December 2018, nothing’s out of bounds, except good taste.  Go big, go bold.  It’s Christmas!
