Dear Parents, Carers and Residents
I understand there are some concerns relating to the perimeter fencing which is due to be erected at Crickhowell High School.
To clarify the situation can I firstly emphasise that we do not propose any closure of the pathway from Everest Drive. Equally the fencing is focused at the perimeter of the Sports Fields and will include gates that will only be closed during School hours namely 9.00am – 3.30pm. These gates will be open during all other times including weekends and holidays.
Perimeter fencing is extensively used by schools to protect and safeguard students. The fencing will be an green open mesh and has been designed to match that already in use on our Artificial Pitches though shorter in height at 1.8 metres.
This is the map of the fencing project
