Yes that’s right. Sports Day is on – 9.00 am sharp – for Years 7,8 and 9 only!
Students should arrive in sports clothes in house colours. During registration, form tutors will check that there is a competitor for each event. Remember this year we’re accepting two competitors for each of the throws and jumps, namely 2 girls and 2 boys. Competitors should be sitting in their houses on the bank at 9.00 am.

Please ensure you show good sportsmanship / general support throughout the day.
Rooms L3 and L4 will available as cool down rooms for any students who feel too hot.
Bring plenty to drink, a hat and sun cream.
Don’t forget to warm up before your event. All those students not competing or preparing to complete, should remain on the bank or under the marquee (if too warm).
Each form should nominate a sports captain for the girls and a sports captain for the boys, whose job it will be to ensure they have a competitor for each event.
In the 1500m, all students can participate and each finisher will gain a point for their house. Athletes must run in lanes 2 to 6 only. Lane 1 is for those athletes who wish to try and break the school record.
Refreshments will be available to purchase from the Cookery Room, so bring a little money with you also.
Lunch will be after the tug of war event, which will be at 12.00 midday.
Events will resume at 1.00 pm with the form shuttle relay and we aim to involve everyone in these events.
The trophies will be awarded at approximately 3.00 pm as follows:
