Having listened to viewpoints and requests from students, staff and parents we have brought forward the Year 11 Final Assembly to this afternoon to enable students to focus all their energies on examination revision this evening for their Welsh GCSE national exam which takes place tomorrow morning.
Nearly all students will be in this examination which is taking place in the Clarence Hall tomorrow morning and thereafter they may revise at home as this signifies the commencement of their GCSE summer external examinations which will be timetabled for most students in the Clarence Hall.
From Monday 11 May as the formal teaching of all schemes of work of work has now been completed, Year 11 students will be able to use the revision areas in school, or can revise independently at home if they so wish. Students coming into school and attending exams must be in correct uniform and ensure they have signed in or been registered in the Clarence Hall.
There will be some additional specialist revision classes and students have been notified of these.
If you wish your son/daughter to revise in school tomorrow afternoon they are most welcome but need to sign in at Reception.
Mrs. J. Parker
