Key Stage 3 Bulletin – Number 3

We have had a very busy couple of weeks.

Last Thursday we hosted the Open Evening which was a resounding success. Many our Year 7 students acted as guides. They were very smartly dressed and we had a large number of compliments regarding not just their knowledge of the school in such a short space of time, but also their manners and enthusiasm for the school. Other students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stages 4 and 5 also expertly helped within department areas on the evening. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our guides and helpers for Open Evening and also to thank their parents and carers who brought them back to school in the evening and picked them up at the end. Thank you all!

The Thought for the week beginning 8th October is ‘Service’.

The Thought for the week beginning 22nd October is ‘Prizes’.

Year 7 matters

Year 7 will continue go to break and lunch 10 minutes early until Half Term. After Half Term, Year 7 will go at the normal time with the rest of the school.

This Thursday October 4th, all of our Year 7 students sat their Cognitive Assessment Tests (CATs). The students were very impressive sitting through 3 batteries each of 3 tests. They were engaged and composed for the full time. Well done to them all!

SIMs Forms

It is vital that we are able to contact you in case of emergency. There are still a small number of SIMs forms outstanding. Please can you return the completed forms to the main reception as a matter of urgency? Thank you.
