This Friday 16th November sees the annual fundraising for Children In Need and Crickhowell High School always supports such big national events. On this occasion, we’re asking students to wear something yellow or polka dot in honour of Pudsey Bear and the Children in Need charity. We’re asking that everyone shows their support and donates £2.00 on the day, which will support this very worthwhile cause.
BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s UK corporate charity. Their vision is that every child in the UK has a childhood which is safe, happy and secure and allows them the chance to reach their full potential. The charity provides grants to more than 2,500 projects in the UK, which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. These children may be facing poverty and deprivation, they may been the victims of abuse or neglect or be disabled. The charities that the BBC’s Children In Need appeal are local to people in all corners of the UK, regardless of size, and they empower children and extend their life choices. Every penny of the money raised will go towards helping disadvantaged children and young people right here in the UK.
Thank you in advance for your support!
