Friday 17th November sees the annual fundraising for “Children In Need” and, as usual, Crickhowell High School will be supporting the event. So come in to school wearing something yellow or dotted in honour of Pudsey Bear and donate at least £1.00 for this wonderful charity.
BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s corporate charity. Their vision is that every child in the UK has a childhood which is safe, happy and secure and allows them the chance to reach their full potential. The charity provides grants to projects which focus on children and young people who are disadvantaged. They are local to people in all corners of the UK and support small and large organisations, which empower children and extend their life choices.
The charity is currently supporting 2,400 projects all across the UK. The projects funded help children facing a range of disadvantages, such as poverty and deprivation; children who have been the victims of abuse or neglect or disabled young people.
Every penny we raise on Friday will go towards helping disadvantaged children around the UK. Please help us to help them and give generously. Thank you for your support.
