Music Tuition

At CHS we are very lucky to have an excellent selection of visiting instrumental/vocal teachers who provide one-to-one and group tuition to our pupils. All teachers are fully DBS checked and are vetted to ensure they are of an extremely high standard.

If you would like to find out more about our VMT’s (visiting music teachers) – please click on the links to see their teacher/performer profile and contact details.

Lessons are usually weekly and 30 minutes in length. The cost varies from teacher to teacher. All financial transactions for these lessons are made directly with their allocated teacher and cannot be done through parent-pay.

Currently, we can provide lessons on the following instruments, but we are more than happy to obtain new teaching provision for any instrument if at all possible.

· Piano
· Voice
· Guitar (Acoustic or Electric)
· Drums (Orchestral percussion also available)
· Upper Strings (Violin, Viola)
· Lower Strings (Cello, Double Bass)
· Harp
· Woodwind (Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, Saxophone, Bassoon)
· Brass (Cornet, Trumpet, Tenor Horn, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba)
