The Sixth Form Committee is made up of eight representatives nominated and chosen by the other Sixth Form students. We meet every week to discuss issues that have been raised and act as a go-between between students and teachers. This means that every member of the Sixth Form gets the chance to have their views heard on anything from uniform rules to the interior dcor of the Block, and the teachers get the insiders view of the Sixth Form mind! If you have any suggestions or questions about the Sixth Form, please email sixthformcom@crickhowell-hs.powys.sch.uk.
The Committee aims to keep everyone happy – ensuring that there are quiet places to study with adequate computer facilities, as well as enough DVDs in the Block! It is also responsible for organising all the social events like the Christmas Disco, Sixth Form Revue (your chance to show the teachers how it really is) and the Christmas Lunch, as well as the May Ball.
After Christmas, the Year 13 representatives pass their roles on to Year 12 students so that they can concentrate on their studies. Everyone has the chance to become involved – we look forward to having you aboard!
