TV Switch Over: 3/3/10 – 31/3/10

Hi all,

On Wednesday from 6am, BBC Two will go off air for anybody using the old style analog TV signal, you will need to have a Digital Set Top box to continue watching TV through an exisiting ariel. Then on the 31st March 2010, the BBC One, ITV and S4C will go off air.

Just a heads up to everyone.

Once switch over has finished, via the freeview box you should get:

‘Verdis Incendia’ Friday 26th February 7.30pm

‘Verdis Incendia’ – the Green Fire Masquerade Ball is upon us and what an evening it will be! The Year 12 Performing Arts students have been working tirelessly to create this exciting, stimulating evening of poetry, song, dance, drama music and art all with the purpose of celebrating our environment and the world we live in.

Every year group in the school will be represented in the performance, as well as our friends from the community music group Aforte and the community hip-hop dance troupe. And in a special guest appearance, we are thrilled to be able to announce the captivating presence of renowned Liverpool poet Phil Bowen.

The evening is split inot two parts with the performance entertainment being followed buy a hog-roast supper and then a live band and masqued ball

We are hoping for as much support as possible from the whole school community.

Come in your party frocks and celebrate with us on this special night!!

Tickets available from the school office or from any of the Performing Arts team.

£8 adults, £6 children, £20 family ticket.
