Pupils Sporting Achievements 2009-10
Ben Dancer in Year 11 has been selected for the Welsh 2009-10 Laser Sailing squad.Â
He regularly attends squad training in North Wales and also became the 2009 Welsh Schools Laser Radial Champion in Tenby.

Matt Downward
Matt is the captain of the Welsh under16 Inline skating squad. For the two year previous he has been the assisstant captain for the Great British Squad, however he took a short break last year due to exam pressure. Matt trains once a week in Caerphilly and every night in the gym. On weekends he has matches for Wales in Sheffield and in Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre for league games.  Matt trains for Great Britain in Sheffield twice a month. In 2009 he travelled to Philadelphia for Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympic Games the GB team came 4th out of 30 teams. In the Canadian and American National Tournament which was also held in Philadelphia the team came 3rd.
